Satisfactory Product Purchased From " Ks-Tronic" a...Strengths: Split Keyboard Weakness: Mouse Is Slow And Receiver Has A Very Low Range. It Is An "OK" Keyboard. I guess It might of had been better if the keybaord that I kept (One out of Two that I ordered) which I purchased from "Ks-tronic" on PriceGrabber, if it would of had actually been "Brand New" as promised and not some repackaged cheap immitation of a "Brand New" product.

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: As with all Microsoft hardware, it's above the regular equipment level. Mouse is very handy and responsive. Keyboard is good enough. The reception level of wireless unit is sifficient to work in a few feet distance. The set is well supported by Microsoft Weakness: Software has to be installed, specifically the latest one 1. Microsoft has on their web site. Old drivers don't work well with latest updates to Windows. 2. The wireless communication doesn't work beyond direct sight and further than 3-4 feet. It's we We use Microsoft wireless kbd/mouse sets for a long time here. We prefer those versus the Logitech ones. With Logitech set we always haver battery problem - it goes down too quick. Even the top of the line bluetooth set, we always struggle in our coference room, since once battery is down, the communication has to be reestablished, and it takes a long time and many steps. With Microsoft hardware...

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: Improves over an already good previous model from MS by offering better mouse & supporting software. Love the on-screen Cap Locks indicator & precise smooth-action scroll wheel. Weakness: One app gets confused & must turn F Lock OFF to get F1-F12 to work normally, then switch back for all other apps. Ins|Home|End|Del|PgUp|PgDn keys not in normal layout. Would prefer dial volume. Love it—definitely recommend if you want a wireless keyboard/mouse with a “natural” (a.k.a. split) keyboard layout. Paid $86.99 (including shipping/tax) from NeutronExpress on 1/12/2004. Prior to buying this, I used the “Microsoft Natural MultiMedia Keyboard” for and “Wireless Internet Mouse” on a daily basis for about 8 months, and liked it enough I bought this (giving the old one...

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: Appearance. Weakness: Wireless, comfort, and software. Wow! A really great looking keyboard and mouse that grab a fair share of attention from co-workers. Problem is that both of them are wireless... Wireless is a great idea, but if it doesn't work reliably and without notice, then what's the point?! The keyboard consistently "dropped" key presses to the point where I'd have to hit a key multiple times to have it show-up. Trying different channels or...

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: Five button mouse, and the feel of the keys are improved. Weakness: You always have to press the F-Lock to get back to the standard F1-F12 key functions when you start the machine, or when you wake it up from sleep. I would recommend this keyboard mouse combination to anyone. The ergonomics and clean design make it a must have for increasing productivity with the fewest keystrokes and the least movements of the hand. This is my second V shaped keyboard and I will continue to only own this design. My finding is that the larger your shoulders are, the harder it is to type on a strait keyboard.

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: Wireless (obviously); good for using on laptop. Has a nice ergonomic design. The side scroll is kinda nice, although you have to jack up the scroll speed to make it usable. A button for everything! Weakness: The two extra buttons are on the left side--I like having one on each side. The mouse shape takes getting used to. No caps/num lock light on keyboard (shows on screen instead). A nice wireless combo. Has the ability to connect via USB or the traditional PS/2 connectors. The keys have a soft feel (not good if you like the tactile "clicky" feel). The mouse shape causes my pinky and ring fingers to fall off onto the table; this is a little uncomfortable, although I'm getting used to it. This also makes it a little hard to move the mouse up in a straight line. I had a...

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: Very comfortable to use. The smooth mouse wheel is a big improvement. Looks good on your desk as well. Weakness: "Forward" thumb button is hard to use. Side scrolling doesn't work in all applications. This is a great mouse and keyboard set. This is my first ergonomic keyboard, and I was surprised at how quickly I adjusted to it. Within a couple hours, I was typing with no problem at all. It is very comfortable to use over long periods of time. The multimedia keys at are also useful, and they work with programs besides windows media player (iTunes for example). The wireless feature is a must...

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: I am a programmer, so I really use the split design on the keyboard. I like how the quick launch buttons are at the top of the keyboard, making it very user friendly. The range is very good. Weakness: The fact that there is no num/caps lock indicator. It is hard to tell when the num lock is on and when it isn't. The different versions of the Function keys. Overall, I am very pleased with this product. Using the computer as much as I do, the split design helps eliminate any undo stress in the wrist area. The tilt on the mouse feature is great for scrolling side to side, and no need to use the scrollbars. The mouse has a nice feel to it, and my form kinda just forms to the mouse nicely.

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop ProStrengths: wireless Weakness: dark keys I enjoy the mobility of being wireless. The keyboard is very comfortable and easy to use. The many features of the keyboard makes it a standout among competitors. The mouse has some drawbacks in that the thumb keys are difficult to reach with an easy movement. Overall the mouse is a smooth operating device.

Superb Unit
Strengths: Accuracy, battery life, extra features, Easy to install
Weakness: none
Having too many wires hanging off my door-facing desk, I opted for eliminating at least the keyboard & mouse cables. But as an avid gamer, I was worried about accuracy of movement, both with the mouse and keystrokes. This unit put my fears to rest. I've played several first-person shooters and have yet to experience any lag or cursor-jumping that has been reported about other units. This wireless...
