Excellent USB HubStrengths: Works Flawlessly Weakness: None I have tried multiple USB Hubs over the last few years, including many by Belkin, D-Link etc. The GUH284R R has worked flawlessly over the last year. Includes a card reader. Highly recommended.

Cheap JunkStrengths: Good looking unit, lost of USB ports and USB 2.0 version. Weakness: Cheaply manufacturing, Card reader doen't work and the base sucks. So far I have nothing but problems with this unit, I got one, new from Fry's electronics work for 5 days then the card reader died (the OS will show the external drive but there not accessable). Call support to get a new replacement, and instead the send me another used one that look like it came out of a war zone and it doesn't work. I am still fitting them, there Indian crappy support really...

IOGEAR 12-in-1 Universal USB 2.0 Hub and Card...Strengths: Cute, Clean design, multi-card reader/writer with indicators, 6-USB ports available, with vertical mounting stand Weakness: Need the power supplier plugged even working as a card reader/writer It's a space efficient device, provides 12 in 4 card reader support, together with 6 USB 2.0 ports, which is very useful for ordinary use, both in space and performance. The card reader is great for me. One slight weakness with mine, the CF slot is a little slantwise, which makes the insertion very difficult, after my first insertion, it seems to be improved a little. Wish it was not a common...

IOGEAR 12-in-1 Universal USB 2.0 Hub and Card...Strengths: Multiple ports plus a card reader that is as fast as a regular USB 2.0 reader. Weakness: Not always powered correctly. Card reader shows up as five drives - can be annoying This works pretty smoothly, as you would expect. The cardreader works excellently and performs neck-and-neck with my other USB 2.0 card reader. It generally works, but every now and then my computer will lose sight of the devices connected to it for about 2 seconds and then find them again. It's like the hub reboots or something. It hasn't caused any problems, but it's not entirely perfect. When...

IOGEAR 12-in-1 Universal USB 2.0 Hub and Card...Strengths: -6 USB ports -ports aren't all on one side (this may work out well for some people) -lightweight Weakness: No firewire ports ports aren't all on one side (hard to reach) Yes, it's a hub, it does exactly what is says it will do. I have it plugged into my mac mini that I have in my truck, works very well. Just buy it.

IOGEAR 12-in-1 Universal USB 2.0 Hub and Card...Strengths: 6 usb ports with multiple card readers all in one place. Comes with vertical stand, which takes up little space on my cluttered desk. Weakness: Needs its own power source, unlike other card readers. Feels a little light/cheaply constructed plastic. This card reader is a great all in one gadget. My desktop PC is in an area where I can't get to it readily, without bending down, and moving stuff. Having 6 USB ports and the card readers readily avaliable is very convenient. I have not had issues with it thus far, and have not had problems with the unit tipping over... but again, I have not plugged anything heavy into the back USB ports. (I use...

IOGEAR 12-in-1 Universal USB 2.0 Hub and Card...Pro: 1) Auto-mounts lots of memory card formats as drives under XP. 2) Has 6 USB ports - 4 on back and 2 up front for easy access 3) Has AC adaptor so that it can power lots of devices simultaneously; sometimes your computer can's supply enough juice to power all the USB devices that you can plug into it. 4) Neat white color that makes you feel like an iPod hipster (hey, I own two iPods so I can...

IOGEAR 12-in-1 Universal USB 2.0 Hub and Card...Strengths: Many usb ports with the media reader combo. A lot of "BANG" for your buck! Weakness: None that I have found. With 6 usb ports and a 12 in 4 card reader what more could you ask for? Very sleek and space-saving design. A lot of "BANG" for the buck! I would recommend this product to all my computer geek friends!

Card Reader IS NOT USB 2.0
Strengths: Clean, all-in-one design
Weakness: Card reader is USB 1.1, while the hub is USB 2.0. Why they would do this, not even their own tech support knows.
I bought this device to take the place of multiple items on my desk. I loved the all-in-one design, though it does tend to move around a lot because it is very light. Anyway, I popped in my CF card after taking a few photos with my DSLR and started to transfer the images. I noticed that the images were taking forever to transfer. So, I tired it with my SD card...same deal. I called IOGear's tech...
