This baby works great!Strengths: Range, over 300ft, through walls, from one house to another. Pretty reliable so far (I only own 2 weeks, up to this point). It's cheap, after rebate. Give it a try, and you might like it. I tried the Hawkings HS2 booster, it didn't work! This baby worked like a charm. Very easy to use, although I am not sure if it works with other routers. 92% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Very happy with the purchaseStrengths: Works and easy installation. Weakness: None so far I bought it for about $13 after $30 rebates from Radio Shack. Replace my U.S. Robotics router antenna with this baby. Installation took only 30 seconds and I placed the new antenna on top of my 21" Sony Trinitron monitor. I have a 3 bedroom apartment and wireless signal in the 3rd bedroom has been poor(2 bars on my laptop) in the past. Signal increased to good (4 bars) after antenna replacement and Internet speed is more than doubled. I am very happy with the D-Link antenna and highly recommend it. 71% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

what an id10tStrengths: to the asshats who cant figure out what to do with the equipment....jump, do not waite...jump now!!!! plug it in...after you place the device in a clear, open spot. the higher, the better. remember, it is only 24* {24 degrees at typical strength} so it needs to be in the same plane as the rest of the 50% of readers found this review helpful. AntennaStrengths: magnetic base unit with extension cable Weakness: Did not improve existing signal reception. The antenna might be in a bad spot but it is the only place i can put it. I get a better signal from the original antenna that i ended up putting on the base that came with it. so i guess i paid 44 bucks for the base and cable 47% of readers found this review helpful. Nice stand ornamentStrengths: None that I can see Weakness: Doesn't have any effect I have this attached to a D-Link router (624). I can tell no difference between using the antenna included with the router or this hi-gain antenna. The position of the router itself seems to have the greatest impact on the signal. 33% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

D-Link ANT24-0700
The D-Link ANT24-0700 is an indoor antenna designed to extend the range of a wireless network in all directions. The product supports most 802.11b/g wireless routers and access points, which must have an SMA or TNC connector, both strengthening the signal in already-covered areas and extending coverage to new areas. Great product!
Strengths: Easy to hook up, works with other manufacturer's equipment.
Weakness: Size - it's a little over a foot long.
I am using a Belkin wireless system in my house and was getting consistently very low signal strength at night with a speed down to 5.5 Mbps with occassional complete signal drops. I screwed this antenna into the wireless card on my computer and the signal immediately went to excellent with a consistent speed of 54 Mbps.
