Professional 600 Series 6 Qt. 575 Watts Stand Mixer

Strengths: ease of use, sturdy, multi-color, attachments

Weakness: expensive

i just bought this recently and it's great. we made pasta with it and it's so easy to use. really recommend this everyone. although this is a little pricey, but because of quality, size, ease of use, it's really worth it.

CUISINART PRO 600

Strengths: i got it yesterday and i couldnt be happier with the spiral dough blade that it carries.it kneads the dough really well much like hand kneading.

Weakness: the greatest weakness is that the bowl and the attachments are not dishwasher safe.

this is a great mixer overall.i can only talk about the spiral dough hook which was really wonderful.i had to fix the clearance problem though between the beater and the bowl . it looks great in my kitchen.

Upgraded to 600 Series

Strengths: power

Weakness: kneading smaller amounts of dough

We purchased a new 600 series Kitchenaid after our Artisan died. Because we do a lot of breads and doughs, we thought we could use the bigger motor. Due to the size, the dough does not knead quite enough for a single batch to develop gluten, but we can double the batch and have one to freeze. The motor is much quieter than expected, and we like the flip-up cover for where the attachments are placed, so that the cap does not get lost. The bowl is also much easier to place than in the previous professional model.

Kitchenaid Pro is a great mixer

Strengths: The motor is strong and powerful. The attachments are easily installed and removed. Very pleased.

Weakness: Yet to find any other than you have to hand wash the bowl and attachments.

This is a great mixer. You may debate if the cost is justified but as an owner of one of these, I can tell you it was well worth it. It should serve your every mixing need for many years to come. Enjoy.

Kitchenaid Professional 600 Mixer

Strengths: Product material say if I had ANY problem, within the products first year, that customer service would arrange to send me a new machine, and then make arrangements for the return of the original.

Weakness: I haven't found any yet, except maybe that the purchaser has a requirement to be willing to learn how to cook, read recipes, spend time being in the kitchen - it is fun.

I've gotten a bit obsessed with the macine. I've done many internet searches for accessories and have discovered the Kitchenaid forums - a chat group for those who use their machines a lot or those of us wanting to get there. They provide alot of useful information, so check them out. They are obsessive, so something I've been looking for.

KitchenAid KP26M1XNP Professional 600 Series Stand...

Strengths: Strong Motor, Bowl Size, Made in USA/Canada

Weakness: Large footprint, only comes with one bowl, expensive to replace attachments.

Upgraded from the K45SS model (26 yrs old) to get larger bowl size. I make a lot of double and triple recipes and the old machine struggles with a double batch. This machine ran fine w/triple batches (12c flour + rest of ingredients). Bowl held it all, only had to power up to 6 as opposed to full power (10). The motor is only slightly louder even though it is so much stronger. There is a slight wait when changing speeds. Even though it is several inches taller, it still fits under the upper cabinets and does not have to be pulled out to use, because the head does not tilt up.

KitchenAid 6 Qt Stand Mixer

Strengths: Powerful

Weakness: Loud

I used to have KitchenAid 325W stand mixer, which makes one 2.2lb dough. With this new powerful mixer, I can make two 2.2lb doughs. That's way easier for me.

The only weakness is the sound of running motor, which is louder than my 325W mixer.

Life change

Strengths: silent, tough motor, performance.

Weakness: none so far

We finally were able to find one at great price and lot of recipes will be easier to make. We just started doing our filled bread from our home country and it was just as easy as making pancakes. No doubt we will be getting the accessories to make more stuff.

Professional results every time...

Strengths: Aside from the 575-Watt motor, increased capacity 6-Quart mixing bowl, steel housing & gears... this thing just works!

Weakness: If size is an issue, you may want to take note of this products dimensions. Other then that, it's a lift-bowl rather then the more common tilt-head mixers you'll find in the average consumers home.

I currently have several KitchenAid mixers ranging from low-wattage tilt-heads all the way up the line to this professional lift-bowl model. This pro can handle anything and everything I throw into it. One of our best household appliances!

good mixer

Strengths: big enough for making cakes and cookies

Weakness: not big enough for big breads

i like the mixer since it great with cookies and cakes-quiet, strong and works for a long time-my mom still has hers from over 20 years. i tried to make bread with 5 lbs of flour but was too small to fit it all. otherwise, a great product
